🌴 Do trees social distance?

The tops of trees often refuse to touch each other, and scientists have coined this-Crown Shyness

They probably need personal space, after all those roots are 24/7 networking and gossiping amongst each other.

But is this isolation a part of the tree’s process to safeguard it’s health?

When you stop plants physically touching each other, their productivity is increased.

Does this period of isolation due to Covid, in some ways help our performance?

The crown of the tree contains the leaves which are it’s diamonds.

Can we unearth our diamond during Covid, and weather the storm?
